Need some gaming guidance URGENTLY

Not really worth playing anything. Nothing new has been brought to the table, coupled with getting older means less enjoyment as you've seen it all before. Think next 10 years or so will be crash time in everything from games to the world economy.

Downer much? This year has been AWESOME for gaming. On PC alone - BF3, Skyrim, SWTOR, Space Marine (Ok that was just good), Orcs must die, Portal 2... that's just off the top of my head. Add in the amazing consoles/new hardware and there's just too many good games to play at the moment!

Anyone who says there aren't any good games out is delusional or trolling.

PS: OP should play CoD - he obviously prefers FPS games, either start from the beginning or from Modern Warfare. Enough gaming to keep him happy for months.

hmm I could get modern warfare but what about modern warfare 3?

What about Halo, is that any good?

Modern warfare is easily the best cod, there is no point bothering with the others after that unless you are after the story.

I thought Q4 was a good single player, and one that I personally enjoyed more than Doom 3, which I also liked. Worth a few quid imo, though I wouldn't spend anymore on it.

I probably could play those. As for wow It took me time to get used to the layout, didn't know what all the spell's and stuff were, just took me time to adjust.

But I was looking for a more mainstream game. Something that isn't an MMO.

Whats wrong with Quake 4?

Until like level 10 in wow you literally have at most 2 spells, how long can it take to adjust

Wow can be fast paced at high levels in PVP, I haven't played in over a year but thats how I remember it.

As others have said, L4D2, killing floor and I have to add skyrim in as well not all that fast paced but on higher dificulty it can seem as much as there is lots to do in each and every fight :)

Plus you can catch butterflies!!
