Any decent TV Tuner software for my TV Tuner? Need it to have EPG and also get the channels in the correct order, like BBC1, BBC2, ITV etc...

The TV Tuner is one of those USB Dongle things, a Seal, DVB-T TV EA064679, think my parents got it off shopping channel.

Thanks
Will.

I use Arcsoft TotalMedia that come with my Freecom DVB stick. It supports what you want - LCN (Logical Channel Numbering). I too wouldnt use anything that doesnt support it. Thankfully Vista Media Centre does.
Have tried DVBViewer and Nero MediaHome and a few other open source stuff with no luck. Either that or it doesnt support the Freecom stick.

Although already mentioned and i'm not sure how supported it is myself, but i found DVBviewer to be an amazing piece of software personally, nice and slim/lightweight and doesn't try and make itself a 6' GUI since i only wanted to use it on my PC rather than TV.

Yea but Media Center most likely wont support this TV Tuner, only supports a certain few.

My dad bought a cheapy USB dongle TV card that I didnt think would work in Vista Media Centre, but it picks it up a treat with full EPG.

Maybe give it a try first before worrying about other software?

Oh wow, I tried it in Windows 7, actually works in WMC, and it seems that any other TV Tuner app in Windows is a pos compared to this, as it seems for me that WMC finds the most channels and also does not add like 3 BBC One's and the same for a handful of other channels.

I think with USB TV card you have to make sure you dont plug the stick in untill you have installed the drivers fully? Though I guess youve probably already done that?

Windows 7! Lucky guy!

Yep, use VMC/WMC as the most simple software that 'just works' (well, most of the time, you know windows!) and you could use mediaportal, which is much more in depth to setup, but has way more customisabilty and features than the windows version. Think plugins and themes etc.

I use DVBViewer with a usb hauppauge tv dongle and it's a great bit of software plus its just been updated to version 4
