Hey guys.

Ive recently bought the AMD Phenom II X2 Black Edition 3.2ghz processor, and Id like to unlock the 2 additional cores.
Would I Need additional cooling for the 2 additional cores if I manage to do it ? or is the stock cooler that came with this alright?

Edit: Went to unlock the 4 Cores in the mobo, saved settings, and when the PC estarted and when I saw the Windows 7 is loading thing, it restarts again and keeps going untill I revert back to 2 cores. any fix for that ?

As I said in your other post try a bit of extra voltage for the CPU to try and stabilise it.

When you've got it all running you can have a look at the temperatures to see if you need a different cooler.
