Ok today i thought i would de-dust my computer :).......did all that and all went fine....also i put a different fan on the back of the case and slotted it into the 4 pit header ( see image below )that sits just above the Graphics card


...its the only thing i did that is different than before i decided to open my system up and clean it out .....im getting a very quiet constant whistling sound from the upper left hand side of the mobo , i can hear it when i put my ear to the upper portion of the IO shield and also when i take the offside panel of the case off , the image below is where i can hear it coming from



Although now it seems to have gone...i cant hear it now

I have never heard that before...is it an issue i should worry about or just forget about it ?

Unless it's a persistent problem or causing issues to your computer I would just ignore it:)

Some computer parts can whine (coil whine) and generally it means nothing. If you are worried keep a eye on your computer over the next few days to make sure nothing is going wrong :)
