Need Some Help and Suggestions for getting a New PC

Im looking to get an actual Desktop to replace my laptop. I need something with at least 1TB of HDD and that i can use for a lot of video editing and a bit of gaming. (At most be able to play ps3 or xbox games)

Links to any Desktop you guys would recommend for this would be great

or Suggestions on how/if i should build my own; That would work too.

Im a super noob when it comes to finding a good PC, just need some help.

What's your budget? Do you mean playing Xbox and PS3 games that are also available on PC?

About 700$ and ops, i Meant a PC that can play 3rd gen games. such as Little Big Planet or ratchet and clank. not actual XBOX or Ps3.
