Need some help choosing a new card

I currently have a MSI 6670 and i require a upgrade now. I have thought about many cards and my budget max is £180. Power supply is no problem to be as im going to be upgrading that too to a 750w. I play all sorts of games and although i don't play at 1080p I would like the best card I can buy. Cheers!

Resolution: 1440x900
the PSU I intend to buy is either OCZ 600w ModXStream modular or a Powercool 750w which i can get for £10. I prefer the OCZ though!
Case: BitFenix Merc Alpha with the hard drive cage removed
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-MLX V2
CPU: FX-4100 OC
RAM: 8gb no name (intend to get better at christmas)
PSU at the moment: CIT 400w Gold (I hate it)
