Need some help, first time building pc :S

hi guys its my first time building a pc and all has been good until i got the the power supply theres 2 cables which im unsure about.

these two:

what are these for? im guessing ones for the motherboard and ones for graphics card? but which is which and which goes here:

kk but the on the 2 4 pins theres only 2 like squared plugs and on the mobo theres 4? does it matter?
