Hi everyone,

OK, I need some advice please.

I want to upgrade, run SLI (On a new mobo) but what are my options in terms of getting a second EVGA 780 Ti SC? I've had a look online, I can get a refurbished one with an ACX Cooler but wanted to keep things identical - mine is reference. I suppose I could get an ACX cooler for my card?

So, what are my options with a second card? Can I run SLI with a 980 and a 780 Ti? Ideally I'd like to keep my existing 780, it's a good solid card, never caused me any problems and don't really want to start trying to sell it.

Any help would be appreciated!

The cards need to be identical in terms of clock speeds.

Placing an ACX cooler on one would not work.

The line has been discontinued unfortunately so you'd probably be looking at finding a used one.

You can try - they may have a B-line coming in/not yet uploaded.

Ye - us 780Ti owners got a poor deal when waiting to go SLI and not getting two cards on release.

Tell me about it, as soon as I got it, it was stopped.

Just looking on ebay at the moment, they're all with ACX Coolers though.

Presumably I could run both, but one with an ACX cooler and one reference, as the chip are identical?
