I am trying to install some new firmware on my Sandisk Extreme Pro drives. They are running Windows 7 in RAID 0 and therefore the default SSD Dashboard utility cannot update the firmware in Windows.

Sandisk are providing an ISO file on their website which they say should be used with a bootable CD/USB using their firmware tool within Sandisk SSD dashboard software. This however is inaccessible as the software isn't detecting the drives in RAID.

So anyway the ISO looks like it is using Linux and someone else has managed to use unetbootin utility to write the ISO to USB, get it to boot....then well I have no idea what this means:

If using the dd command is not working you may try to use the unetbootin utility to write the iso image to your usb stick.

Simply install it with yum

sudo yum install unetbootin -y

When I boot using the USB disk I created it gives me 3 options:
1. Default
2. Sandisk SSD Dashboard
3. Back to DOS

When choosing 1 or 2 it comes up with an error about not being able to mount then powers down.

EDIT: When choosing option 2 it comes up with this:

Any help to get this working, much appreciated please.

Oh well managed to sort it.

Installed windows on another drive and one by one updated the firmware on my drives before connecting them back up to RAID.
