I'm looking for some help sorting out a display problem on my PC that randomly appeared.
I booted my PC today only to have it pop onto the desktop with all of the icons missing and my wallpaper picture shrunk into a small box in the middle of the screen. I am writing this from the PC as if I right-click in a blank space I am able to manually get to my desktop page and launch internet explorer.
I am unable to access my display settings as they are either not launching or I am unable to see it on my screen. I have once been able to launch my catalyst control centre but when I went to check the creen resolution (assuming it was that thats gone haywire) it seemed to be saying my set-up was for HDTV with some really bizarre options I've never seen before. I have since not been able to get catalyst control to work again to double check the settings or change anything.
Any ideas? I'm hoping it's something stupidly simple. I dont mind being made to sound a fool as long as it gets sorted!
