Yep, if the phone is locked to vodafone you will need a vodafone sim to get into the phone itself first. Do you not know someone who is on vodaphone you can get a sim from temp?

Once you get the vodafone sim and you can access your phone its as easy as installing cydia using Redsn0w, unlocking it via Ultrasn0w from cydia and popping your o2 sim card in....

i wish i did, most people i know have 02 or orange

iv requested a couple of free sims from vodafone website

ill wait til they arrive

Managed to get hold of a vodafone sim but having the same problem again of iphone not showing up in itunes

ok its showing up again now, iv set it up as a new iphone

Modem Firmware 06.15.00

Just for everyone to catch up in this thread Samsara managed to get it successfully working via email convo with me as I got suspended! ;')

Everything works fine now and back to a 4.3.3 JB device.
