Need some help with my Linsys-N setup

I have a Linksys-N router WRT150N and seperate modem.
Now the internet does connect fine, but occasionally the internet connection just drops away. Now the netwerk connection is still fine, but the internet will only come back after I unplug the router, the modem and plug them back in again (as they don't have on/off switches)

Anyone have any idea's why this could be happening? Both are brand new, and about 2 months old..

Could be your phone line.. call your ISP(e.g BT, NTL etc) tell them the problem they will test your line and ask you to do some checks. One of which might be to unscrew the front plate on your BT master socket this cuts off all other extensions in the house.. you then plug the router into that master socket and see if it drops. I had this same problem when my internet was upgraded to a faster speed and it turns out one of the cables used to extend the line to my study was not the right type, BT came out, put a new cable in and its been fine for years now.

tried removing the router from the equasion and just running the modem straight into one of the pcs?

thats what id do tbh

although id check every phone socket int he housefor a microfilter as if any dont have one that have somthing plugged in it will discon u
