Need Some Help With overclocking

So am thinking of overclocking my CPU/GFX anyone know how i can do this safely without burning out my system?

MB: Asus P5N-E SLi
RAM: 2GB Corsair dominator
GFX: GeForce GT220
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 6320 @ 1.86 GHz (2 CPUS) ~1.9

Need anything else?

Not sure about heatsink what is it and how do I find out?

but I dont know what im looking for lol I got 1 fan on my CPU and 1 on the front of my tower think I got 1 more somewhere aswell
