need some help

my pc that i have just built keeps crashing in eve im running a q6600 4gb of ocz gold 800mhz and a 9800gx2 with a ds5 x48 mobo all stock setting i dont know y this is happing any help would be most appreciated.

need a few more details buddy. Is it just eve crashing or is eve crashing you whole PC.

Is it coming up with error messages ? Does this happen with any other game ? Are you sure your CPU is cool enough ( I once had a problem where my comp kept crashing when it tried running games. Turnt out the heatsink wasnt seated properly.)

Any recollection as to what the error message says ?

Also the CPU you temps download core temp program:

Obviously if they are too high on idle ie just sitting on your desktop then you have a problem

just re fitted the frezza pro 7 temps have come down 28-30 c idle they was at 38 -45c core temps now i think about it i should have noticed this but i tought it was the extra heat of the 9800gx2 as it runs very hot its the overclocked evga model thanks for your help and for a quick reply.

not good still crashing in eva this is the error code 0x0000007F (0x0000000d, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) it realy ******* me off now need more info please help.

Try googling the error code, that usually finds helpful stuff

Is it just eve? I had crashing in all my games and it turned out to be memory errors.

Yeah it does sound like your memory could be the problem.

yes its just in eve .when a ship locks on to my ship then it crashes.

if anyone gets this error code its the realtek driver found a good web site that put me straight on to this prob update driver and all is good thanks for you help anyway.
