need some help

I need some help with what memory to get.At the momemt i have an ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO with a 2 gig stick of geil black dragon GB34GB1600C9DC ram. I would like to add 2 more gig.Would i be better off with buying a new matched pair or just add any 2 gig to it.sorry for the noob question.

its always reccomemded to get a matched pair.....cant you get another stick of the same type? if you could that should be fine...

if i get another stick of the same does that mean it will be a matched pair? Cheapest ive found is 60 pounds for a 2 gig stick of the same make. Would i be better off with a new matched pair?

hi there considering it will be an extra £60 for 2 gig, it also wouldnt be classed as a matched pair, you would be better off getting a new pair of 2gig sticks and running in dual channel mode, you could get 2 x 2 gig for around £70..would turn out cheaper if u manage to sell the 1 you have...
