i have a mate who is having some trouble with his wireless
he is having random disconnections (although he still appears connected)
and his download speed using his laptop is pretty slow, 180k/sec according to some speed test website (he has a 1mb line)
this speed goes right up to 1mb if he uses a cat5 connection to his laptop
(so i know his line is working ok)
he still has poor download speeds with the wireless even if he is sat only a few feet away from the router, and his signal strength is good
anyone got any ideas what could be wrong ?
