Need some LOTRO Info

well, just downloading it now,

is there realms like wow, if so where do most of you guys play ?

allso is there any good sites which i can read up before i play the game ?, about classes ect as i havnt a clue what im expecting

If you do a search in this forum it'll give you a list of players and servers I play on [EN]Snowburn which is pretrty popular.

The community is fantastic - very, very helpful and very matrure. As long as you're civil you should be able to find a lot from the general chat.

Classes are always difficult and depends what you want to do. I enjoy the hunter (though this is a very popular class) due to being able to solo and also good in a group. But it really depends on your style of play.

Laurelin was the one I played on, well populated and friendly but snowburn seems popular too! The community is really good and everything is geared to grouping, minstrels are popular because everyone loves a healer, and they recently got a boost. The forums are probably the best to read up, but you always risk getting turned off by the inevitable whine fest. Just look for the class guides and dont bother plunging into the 'nerf!!!!' posts.

I'm on ENRP-Laurelin. Great server, friendly and mature players too.

You can read up on the official site, or LOTRO wiki (google it) about classes, but in the end it comes down to user preference; what do YOU want to play.

Also, if you are on Laurelin, be sure to join the chat channel called globallff. Makes grouping sooooo much easier.

my minstrel looks like freddy mercury great hand to hand combat then finish the beast off with some lute playing cannae beat it's seriously good fun hehe
