need some new ram

im looking to replace my 1 stick of corsair xms 4g 1333

would like 8 gig duel of 1600. not really got a price limit

thaught about the geil dragon but not sure about ram timings

the mobo isnt the best, its a msi z68-g43 g3 with a i5 2500k

Are you are using a 64bit O/S, otherwise you won't be able to use all 8gb.

Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) would be also ok.

You could just buy another stick for £20: corsair xms3 4gb (1x4gb) ddr3 pc3-10666c9 1333mhz single-channel module

two sticks = dual channel if put in the correct slots on the motherboard (usually two of the same colour).

there isn't a massive difference in performance between 1333mhz and 1600mhz though there is some benefit in some things if you don't mind paying the extra.
