Ok i just sold my ps3 to sist-si on these forums, all went nicely, and very nice chap.

But on paypal, i was ment to send the money too my bank account, but i accidently clicked take the money from my bank account, is there anyway to cancel this? As i dont even have that money!

please help :p

will halifax charge me for trying to overdraw? Im only with the easycash account with online banking since im only 15 (well practicly 16)

With basic accounts, I always thought that if the money wasn't there then the payment would simply be declined.

hmm with paypal it is usually a DD payment, and the refusal from your bank costs £39 or whatever. it has probably changed since the legal actions, however if you do get charged. ring them up - as it is a first offence they should be ok with it, otherwise tell them it is against the law.

and with basic accounts, they will make you overdrawn with charges. they will charge you to refuse the DD payment, then if you go overdrawn they will charge you for that too...

i tried it on my account before pay day when the bank was dry and wouldnt go through so thats weird then.

just remember grass hopper less speed more haste

Transfer the money from paypal to your bank?

I think it takes paypal a few days longer to take money from the bank than it does to pay it in, it always seemed that way to me anyway so the funds might clear into your bank before they get taken out.

ok i think ive sorted it out now, but theres now something even more worrying for me, i did what loopstah said, that has already been done and currently on 'completed', which the original mistake i did still on processing, but, the money from the ps3 one has disapeared, its not in my paypal account, and its not in my bank, does it take a few days to appear?

anyone, this part is worrying me. Even though it says completed, its not in my bank account, does it take a while to appear in it?

Yes, the "completed" means paypal have completed their end of the transaction, it will still take a few days for your bank to credit it to your account.
