Need some quiet

Hi there,

I just ordered a machine off ebay and it's great however it's a tad noisy so I plan to buy a Zalman fan controller from OcUK and swap out the psu for a quiet one. I don't need a lot of power as the system spec is:

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz
2Gb RAM (2 sticks)
1x500gb SATA
1xDVD writer
3 USB devices (mouse,kbd,ipod)
nVidia 8500GT PCIe

I think the system has a 450W psu in it which is more than enough for my needs.I'm looking for the quietest PSU on the market, can anyone suggest one?

Corsair HX520, or Enermax Liberty 400 if you want a lower wattage.

Itll help keep the noise down on the molex powered fans.

Hello keymoo, the Corsair VX 450W ATX PSU is a fine power supply unit and I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your purchase.

One other thing I will mention is your signature size - Please read the FAQ regarding Signatures please, thanks.
