Hey guys , My R9 390 purchased in February(Sapphire) dropped performance drastically all of a sudden , it has dropped from 80 - 100 FPS Epic in Overwatch to 34 - 40 FPS on low. The other day it crashed on overwatch with very slight artifacting but didn't effect any other games whatsoever.

I have done everything possible from driver rollback-reinstall , reseating power , changing PCI-E slot , checking msi afterburner. I have also stressed it with OCCT getting crap framerate and no artifacting at all or GPU memory errors. Is it RMA time?

Can you try the GPU in another machine.

I'm gonna try it in a mates PC this week. The card never goes over 55C, so it seems like its throttling but afterburner reports fine.
Also it seems like web page scrolling rendering is slow and also the animations in windows aren't as fast

Purge the drivers, remove msi ab, install new drivers.
Then test it. (Without installng msi ab)
If you want to overclock use trixx found it stable and doesnt create similar issues you have. (Had them with 295x2 and Nano with MSI AB)

rest of your specs please.......Overwatch is another beast in itself. Its extremely sensitive to OCing; CPU; specially ram - I still can't run my ram at 2400 speeds and play Overwatch; it slows down and crashes....I'd test everything before looking at the card.

Its all over the forums - took me good 24 hours of digging to find this out; most of the crashes aren't due to the cards or drivers but OC

Using a i5 6400 at 4.4GHz , Kingston Fury black DDR4 at 2666Mhz , Samsung Evo 250GB SSD. I'm getting crap fps on all my other games aswell but it does feel like a driver issue.
