Need some tyres and not sure..

I need 2 rears on my escort as the current ones are nearly out of legal tread and so I dont know what to get. I know the current ones are P600's on a 14" and i think its a 185/65 so what should i go for?

Also I dont want to spend a lot but want something reasonable. Also no Avons as the last set i had meant i aquad and nearly died (a little ott but you get what i mean)

I'll probably sound like a broken record but here it goes...

For a balance between high performance and price, Toyo Proxes T1-R's are hard to beat.

i doubt you wlill find them on a 185/65 r14 though.

I'm guessing its not a high performance car so your looking for a good value all rounder? If so I was quite impressed with my Goodyear GT2's good VFM and the perform well in wet and dry. I had put 10k on mine when I swapped to my alloys and they probably still had atleast that again in them and that was on the front's :eek:

2nd that have them on my Pug 306 gti-6 Brilliant tyre, silly amounts of grip

Payed £270 for all four fitted, balanced and tracking sorted. Mine are 195,55,15.
