Thinking about exchanging my '05 plate S2000 GT.

I purchased a house in October, my car is going to shortly need new rear tyres and then tax and insurance later in the year, it doesn't really make financial sense to keep it, at the same time I don't have the funds available to trade up to something else, it would have to be a straight swap.

Do Honda dealers do this? I'm thinking a '07 Civic 1.8 or 2.2 is maybe of comparable value to my car?

I know the Civic is going to be a complete snorefest but to be quite honest, my car doesn't really get 'driven' as it should anyway.

Cheers

Why not just sell the S2K privately, its the right time of year to sell them. A dealer is going to look to screw you over, i doubt many will be holding 2007MY Civics now, its a bit old for them i'd guess.

I dont see how many half decent cars will be much cheaper to run than an S2000 which you already own, assuming you are already getting decent insurance rates on it?

Its a reliable light fairly small engined car at the end of the day, i'd just keep it :)

This tbh. All cars need tyres, tax & insurance.

Servicing costs aren't much more than a boggy hatchback

I had an S2000 a few years ago, and to be fair the insurance was bizarrely expensive on them back then. I am not sure what the market is like now though.

I know someone with a Performance blue ST220 with 80oddK miles on the clock, FSH, Miltek System etc etc. 50MPGz easy.

Want me to sort you a deal out? :p
