Hello,
I was writing a couple of weeks ago about SSD upgrading, and so I've done all the upgrades. All in all it is working BUT there is an issue with the old hard drive.

I was told that when installing new OS onto the SSD I should unplug the HDD with the old 32 bit OS. I did as I was told and it installed fine, but now when I've plugged in the old drive, it automatically loads to the old os. I went into bios to change the boot order and didn't find my new installed SSD, there were only 3 option available : floppy(which I don't have), old HDD and CD/DVD rom...

I went another way, unplugged old drive booted into my new SSD when it logged on I plugged my old HDD so that I could wipe it, and it didn't even recognise it... literally, there was no change.

So, what can I do at this point? I just want to format my old drive so that my PC would always boot into SSD.

I was thinking to re-install the OS with both of them plugged in. But not sure, hence why I'm asking.

lol!! Thank you!! But I've figured it out... I think... I've re-booted the system again and it booted back to the new os and found the old hdd... I think I've managed to format it and get rid of the old OS

Thank you! Sorry about that ^_^
