Need suggestions on how to improve my PC for streaming.

I'm looking to improve my stream quality with an upgrade but unsure which would make the most difference.

Current Spec -
2500k I5 @3.3ghz
Asus P6P67
Corsair Vengence 8GB 1600mhz
Nvidia 250gts 512mb
1TB 6200rpm WD (i think)

Internet connection - 30down/10up

I will only be stream Heroes of Newerth which is a CPU dependant game. Stream at 720p/1080p. What would be the most noticable upgrade purely for streaming? SSD or a new GPU?

This,if you're streaming within your home make sure you have at least 100Mbps router/wireless/nic, if you were streaming over the Internet you might need a better upload, not sure.

Streaming online, my internet handles 1080p with ease just something in my computer which isn't performing. I was guessing it could be HDD related.

Well I would say it's your graphics card that's holding you back. Assuming you're plugged into the router with at least a 100mb connection and the upload isn't throttled by your ISP, upgrading the graphics would be the best choice.

Does the game still feel laggy when you're not streaming?

Nope, when i'm not streaming the game runs perfectly. When looking back at VOD's and watching the stream on other computers it runs extremely smooth with no stutter at all. It's definitely not an internet problem as I can upload files and download at a decent speed without effecting the stream.
