Need tips on water cooling.

Hi, ive installed my 1st water cooling system but I'm not sure if I've made a noob mistake. Ive installed the Ocuk v6 wc kit but does the pipe from CPU to res need to be long enough to pull the res out the front Of my case? If it does how would I drain everything to re do it all safely?

Can you get to the fill port on top of the res?. My res will not come out of the bay but the 5.25 slot above it is vacant so I can top it up.

Best way to drain the loop is get the lowest tube hold a funnel under it and cut it open.

I can pull it out so the fill hole is just outside the case yeah. So it's fine as it is then if it's normal for other systems. Thanks for your reply .

yeah, the easiest way to bleed a loop is to find the lowest point and create an opening there, otherwise it means turning your whole PC upside down which can be awkward

when you come to refill the loop fit a T of some description with a stopper (or even ball valve) so that next time you don't need to cut anything, just hold a container under the T and let it all drain out
