Need to backup/restore my iPhone

Hey guys,

As above, first time I'll have done this since owning my 4s and I'm only doing it now because I have to; I'm hoping to recover some of the 4.10gb of other that I currently have on my device... and yes, I've done all the usual - clearing safari's cache etc. The 'other' usage seems to have jumped up a lot after the recent 6.1 ios update now that I think about it :confused:

I would like to keep EVERYTHING that I have on my phone now if I can, specifically my phone book, messages and apps. My 21gb music collection is stored offline so I can get that back after the restoring. I've run a backup in itunes but that only appears to total 160mb - surely I have more usage than that, that can be saved?

Really hoping restoring gives me back a bit more storage...

Right, did a restore and I've clawed back about three gig but I've noticed this now:

Its nearly a gig in size, do I need it?

Have you considered iTunes match, then streaming your music when you need it?
Cant speak for the above, looks like an iPhone restore file but no reason it should be on your phone? Wouldn't like to say though.

The file pictured was on my pc, its gone now...
