I need to know whether this is correct or not. I have asked a few times but never sure on the response.
My motherboard fsb is 1066 as is the ram I am using which at present is Geil 8500.

Now as from screenie my ram is running at 534 mhz and my cpu fsb is 267.3
In the bios I have set it to linked and to 1:1. mem timings 5-5-5-15 and volted at 2.2.

Now should my mem frequency def show as 533 or 1066? Anyone else running the same sorta setup ran cpuz?
Or should the fsb be the same as that of the cpu
Please help me out on this its driving me mental!

thanks mark

Do 534x2 (Double Data Rate), then do 267x4 (Quad pumped intel's..) then tell me the answer :P

Its fine.

ITs running at 1:1 which is correct and no there is no need to pull it down to 533 as said above look at the calculation, both come to 1069.2

Thanks for the clarification, my first move to multicores so I'm in at the deep end.
Next step is the overclock, any suggestions where to start?
Thanks

OK now that my ram is running at its correct speed I thought I'd run memtest to be sure all is well.
Its not
Im getting errors at 2 minutes. What could be causing this and how might I go about rectifying it?
