need to create a brochure

ok my mum and dad have asked me to create a brochure for the family business, said theyd see if i can do it before they go to someone proffesional. so what sort of software is good for this?? were talking logo at top, some pictures spread around and some content about the company. are we talking microsoft publisher here or something more advanced, if so what. cheers

Quark Express or Indesign For layout.

Photoshop & Illustrator for Images.

They can all be used on the PC

If your getting it printed make sure you have 2mm bleed Min.

And create at 300 pixels/inch ( for printing ) .
