Need to create my first youtube video? Any help?

OK, so I've got an mpg... What do I do now?

I've ready that I should ideally convert it to XVID 320x240 etc?

Any help from someone who's done it before?

Spin around and touch your toes... That's the first stage, at least.

From first hand experience, it seems to be to ask for advice and get a wise arse response...

320x240 is the recommended resolution, and under 100mb obv
although i have uploaded 1280x720 HD videos before and they turn out fine

edit : so theyve updated it now, 640x480 is recommended

Well, I found a free dedicated program to upload and convert...

I used that, and then just uploaded the originals, and very little difference, with probably the unpreconverted ones being slightly better!
