Need to return a card, was advertised as voltage unlocked but, the volts are locked to 1.25 max, even though the slider will go higher the volts remain the same.

But in my haste have used the free game code.

I think you need to use Asus GPU Tweak to change the voltage.

I run a Platinum and my max voltage is 1.4v.

Yes the TOP is voltage locked. The Platinum isn't. With regards the code you will have to ask the shop. I guess they will either say you can't return it or you will have to buy the gold bundle which is advertised at £89.99.

EDIT: Ignore me I misread. You have plat.

Its what I am using, latest version, you can move the slide to 1.3v+ but checked the actual volts and not breaking 1.25

also the gold reward does not have a £ value, it is not for sale, where did you get £89.99 from? on the invoice it has a £0.00 amount.

You should be able to sort out the voltage thing. But if you want to DSR it you'll have to post in the CS forum and ask. They might take it back even though you've used the code, they might not be able to.

ocuk is AMD's main retailer in the UK, there won't be anything dodgy going on.

But saying things like this won't do you any favours...

They're not for resale....but that's the value attached to the code. 3 games, each £30 each = £90.

I suspect the selling of it is to allow for exactly these situations where someone wants to return the card after using the games.

1.255v is usually what most sane people put this baby and they hit ~1275 core.

Either way someone else got the same card yesterday and plug it straight away to 1.3v without issue. Maybe you need to ask him how to do it? mjenabi2 is his name.

The Platinum is not voltage locked, you can even adjust the voltage by using buttons on the card. It's advertised correctly.

The Golden Ticket cannot be purchased separately, you can only obtain it by buying a qualifying product from us.
