Hi, I've just tried enabling bluetooth on my phone to send pictures to my computer. I have a USB bluetooth device plugged in and turned bluetooth on on my mobile, but it won't send anything. I have no idea what I'm doing >< but do I need to ring up some sort of number first to enable it? I'm on O2.

No need to ring up any numbers, your bluetooth dongle should pick up the phone straight away. My dell laptop that has a bluetooth module built in picks up my nokia 6680 straight away.
Have u installed the drivers for the bluetooth dongle??...if not install them and re-start your pc.

Have you tried to "pair" the devices? This is how bluetooth functions, easiest way is to look for the "discover bluetooth devices" function of the bluetooth software on your pc, see if it finds the phone.

Done that and...nothing. Is it perhaps because I've attached it to a 1.0 port?

i don't use any 3rd party software/drivers for my bluetooth dongle. i simply use the built in windows xp bluetooth support. first you have to pair the devices which it seems you have done. now you have to set the pc ready to receive the file. use either the bluetooth icon in the systray or use the file transfer wizard under programs>accessories>communications. :)

Is there a way to switch where a file sent from your PC to the phone your sendings space

For example my phone space is 1500kb and I have an extra 3000kb of space on my phone but when I try sending something it always goes to the smaller space and doesnt receive ?

I hope that makes sence!!
