Ok I've decided to buy one 1080ti

After sli'ing for the past 6 years I decided to not go sli no more due to the lack of support ect

I know there is no 1080ti version of the EVGA Classified/KingPin or MSI Lightning or the Asus ROG MATRIX so im thinking the only other cards are:

Anyway I've decided between

Zotac Amp Extreme
KFA2 Hall Of Fame (Pre-Binned Chips)

There is another 1080ti, the Gigabyte Extreme Edition, but dont think that is as hardcore as the above cards.

So what card would you guys go for?

All are the same and all voltage limited to 1.093v.
Get the cheapest one with non reference cooler.
so the £950 KFA2 is a gimmick? just for looks or something? also will the binned chips make a difference?

also if all the 1080tis are voltage locked then overclocking is pointless right?

All 1080 Ti cards are much the same performance wise so pick the one with the cooler, warranty and other features you want.

If you want to pay silly money these is always the Titan Xp which is quicker than any of the 1080 Ti cards.
oh i see, so i need to focus on the cooler and warranty duration and perks ect, so i can get a founders edition and it will be the same as the 950 quid hall of fame 8 pack edition

Ive being doing a lot of research last night and this morning, when you see all the FPS graphs against 1080tivs1080ti brand vs brand,

for example i watched the amp extreme vid and the graph beats all the other 1080ti's (by 10-15fps??)
I watched vids and reviews on the Gigabyte aurous 1080ti and that apparently has the highest fps when compared to other ti's, so I see conflicting info on which brand is the king of 1080ti's

So now im thinking heavily between the GIG Auros the Amp Extreme and lastly the white KFA2 (which is not in stock)

shame there is no lightning or classifieds.

What was interesting about the Maxwell 980 Ti Kingpin is the chips were binned and if you had one over 80% ASIC it made quite a difference.

I suspect the reason we have not seen a 1080 Ti Kingpin is it is not worth binning the chips.

i see, i wonder why KFA2 are selling pre-binned 8 Pack edition 1080ti then? it makes sense now, coz thats why there is no kingpin or lightning coz they are all locked.

hey kaap, when the next cards come out, the one after Pascal, Volta I think, do you think these cards will be unlocked?
