T-mobile..apparently i signed up for an 18 month contact with them..i don't recall it being that long and i'm gonna contact their CS to get a copy of the contract sent to me.

In the meantime, does anyone here have any tips/suggestions of how i can get out of a contact without paying the stuping sum of money they've suggested? I recall seeing something on here related to o2 and their change of T&Cs which meant you had a get out clause..anything similar for t-mob?

Thanks.

yes he has, more like 11 months i would guess as hes thinking his contract is ending or about to end.

im sure each account has the t&c's version noted so that the right ones are sent out.

however, so long into your contract you should be aware what you were on. i cant see you getting out of it tbh.

Can't you change your tariff onto the cheapest and then pay off the remaining months? Or have network operators stopped you from downgrading your contract?
You cant do that on t-mobile.

O2 did this to me yesterday - on two occasions over the last month I've rung to check when my contract ends and been told that it expires in September. I rang yesterday to go through the cancel/upgrade process and - after confirming I could cancel - they announced right at the very end that I'd agreed to an 18 month contract!

I've had tons of problems with O2 and pointed to these problems as evidence that they do get things and are wrong about this. They claimed that the proof of their being right was in knowing my place of birth. Which was actually wrong - they still wouldn't budge though.
