My copy of the XP Media Centre is damaged I think as I can't find the files on the CD to install IIS.

Meanwhile, I am working with MS Visual Studio and need to install IIS in order to run a web server. To do this you must add through Control Panel and the XP Media Centre CD (or the files to be precise) is then required.

I have googled and have not found a soloution to my problem :(

Is there a way to get around this?

Removed - cant do that.

MCE comes with IIS I'm sure (I will confirm when I get home though). It should be under 'Add Remove Programs > Windows Compnents > Application Server' - is it not there?

It does come with it yes (on the CDm does not install automatically)

Its under:

Add Remove Programs > Windows Compnents > IIS

But when I go to install it, it can not find the files and when I try to manually search for them it can not find them either, hence why I need to find out if they are downloadable from anywhere.

Currently working on making my own E-Commerce website you see but need IIS to test it on my computer as I have little money to actually get a host at the moment as the site will not be ready for a couple of months at which point I will get the hosting.

IIS is just a stop gap so that I can test it out you see.

[Removed] - Email me about it, I'll explain, and may be able to help.
