Hi i'm currently trying to get a PC custom built from overclockers, i dont know much about hardware so i thought i'd ask and see if i'm doing it right. Also would like to know how i pick which hard drive wondows 10 gets installed on, as i want it on the SSD.
Thanks in advance

Motherboard:
Asus ROG Strix Z370-F
CPU:
Intel Core i7 8700K 3.7GH
Water coller:
NZXT Kraken x52 AIO Water cooling unit 240mm
Memory:
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB DDR4
SSD:
Samsung 960 EVO Polaris 250GB
Hard Drive:
Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 7200RPM
PSU:
Seasonic focus plus 850W 80 Plus Platinum
Case:
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX
GPU:
ASUS Geforce GTX 1070Ti Strix

240 AIO will struggle with 8700k clocked to 4.9ghz+ , also push 16GB of ram ! Saves in the long run
Stock version of evolv is very restrictive so selected the one with laser cut outs for better air flow .
Ditched NVMe as you won't notice a difference

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,707.09 (includes shipping: £15.30)

And just for the sake of it, ryzen version but running with cheaper parts, same high quality

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,413.31 (includes shipping: £12.60)

Thanks for the help. I rang them up to see if they could get that system built for me, but not even one minute on the phone, and the guy on the other end hung up on me. So I will be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks for the response tho

You sure if was intensional cut off ?
To be honest I don't think OCUK work like that are are normally one of the best !
Honestly , worth another try and mention of cut out . No business turns away money as well haha :)

Just like to chirp in and say, regarding the 240 aio not being man enough, I have the ocuk 240 in my germanium build in the same case and clocked at 5gig with no avx offset(it's bugged)at 1.32v I don't get over 50c in any games and only 72c in prime so I think it all depends on the chip to be honest. I also don't think ocuk would sell a pre built system if the cooler wasn't cutting it. I also have 1080ti SLI in the case and they are staying coolish.
On another point, does anyone know if they sell just the front panel with the cut aways for airflow on the evolve?

Their CLC could in theory handle anything, it's mostly about the fans that dissipate the heat .
Those alphacools should be good for 500w thermal load if I can remember max , but you'd need some Delta on that to it it's max peak .
And as you say, luck of the draw for voltage, having to run 1.345v to hit 5.1ghz with 0.1 offset . I fear most looking inside the tubes of those CLC with copper and aluminium

How do you find the Germanium, What temp does your 1080TI get when under load? I wanted to add a 360mm water cooler to my 8700k aiming for 5ghz

I love it but I run Sli so have 2 blower cards which do run hotter. I run agressive fan curves but with one card only it gets to about 65c so with an aftermarket card like the strix you would be looking at around 10c less I would imagine. All other temps are nice and low especially the 8700k @ 5gig which in games never breaks 50c which coming from ivy bridge which used to hit 75c is great. Now I run at 4K so if you are running at lower your card will be cooler still.
