I am looking to buy a 75hz no it or as higher hz seem to reduce tearing, but 120hz/144 are very expensive.

I have been able to find this model for £50 used, in good condition.

There seems to be some confusion I line about whether certain monitors actually output 75hz over hdmi or DVI and I can't get a clear answer. Some people say only at lower res?

The ****** page lists it does 50-76hz.

Surely I would be able to use it at 900p at 75hz or would I be able to overclock it if not.

Shows you can do 75hz at 1280x1024. The manual doesn't say which input you need for certain hz though.

Do you not have both types of cable?

That's a shame, I was hoping I could game at 75hz on 1080p. I have read quite a lot about people overclocking or forcing higher hz for their monitor, is this possible here?
Yeah, you need to create a custom resolution in the control panel, as seen below:

No guarantees it will work though. I just tried on mine and I could only get an extra 5hz.

Oh Ok, thanks for the help man. How dangerous is doing this, would i have better luck overclocking at 900p, which I'm more than happy to game at?
