As i've lost a lot of weight because of my health and it's under investigation ;) http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18329388 but is there any type of food that is safe for my stomach that will put weight back on?. I used to be 13stone but a lot of it has gone from my face ever since I went down to 8 stone during a severe episode some time back. I was 12 1/2 stone but then the health issue kicked in and I'm down to 11 1/2. I want to be 13 again :(

A gym is out of the question i'm afraid :(

My diet is little and often so I need something that will keep me going and put weight back on!

Potatoes, Pastas, Rice, Breads, Milk if its allowed but that adds more "bloat" than anything.

You could even carb cycle things to speed it up.

I could do with losing about 1 1/2 stone. I'll just need to find a machine that'll shift it from me to you.. :p

You could give the weight-gain shakes a shot. Goodluck on the recovery though :)

Also if you can only eat smaller meals but more often then thats good anyway, and if you can eat before bedtime that would help too.

As above though, important to keep good proteins up, all the usual sources, Chicken, Tuna/ fish, red meats.

Just be aware not knowing how much "weight" was muscle over body fat, I imagine through your illness their would have been quite a big of muscle loss, is no exercise is possible in any real way to help return muscle ( muscle memory is a great thing), I would talk it over with your doc, if you are trying to return to a more normal healthy looking state the above should be ok. Dont gorge thinking it will put the lbs back, your body may store fat very easily after the severe weight loss.

I can walk which I do anyway but that adds even more weight loss, I used to train at the gym but the intense pain of even normal gym training put me right out. It's become a disability(that and other things) I just want to be back at 13stone, the pain is unbearable on occasion.

Walking is a great exercise, and do not think about it causing weight loss, the positives for helping maintain healthy blood circulation and breathing is something you want to keep in good nic, and overall will have you looking healthier, if you are able to eat a good source of heavy carbs and proteins, the weight will come back quite fast ( how the body responses to soaking up fat after losing a lot of body fat is a rather long thing to explain, but your body will be grabbing at the carbs to store them as fat) just let your body do its thing.

if it's little and often, get some bags of those spicy peanunts - nobby's nuts etc. I picked a bag of those up 150g and they were about 580 cal per 100g:eek: I put them back. Not a bad snack to nibble on if you want to put some weight on

My brother put weight on with peanuts though it did give him a lot of wind. :)
