Need to Record Gameplay...How?

I play a game called CrossFire which is a really addictive game, but I wanna know how to make a short video on my game play...

I was told to download and install something called Fraps but im not sure what I'm doing, is there an easier way?

Easier than Fraps? Fraps is the most simple program in the world.

Well I must be doing something wrong

I clicked on 'Movies' and then set the key to F9, so do i just start the game, and press F9 and it starts recording or do i have to do something else?

You'll get a watermark unless you purchase fraps as well iirc.

Once you've recorded a bit, you'll have a folder full of AVIs to process in your editor of choice.

Can u only record 30sec clips? I have to keep pressin F9 every so often as the counter goes back to yellow agen
