Going to be upgrading my current card to a GTX460 sometime this weekend. I'm pretty sure i'm running the latest drivers or close to, so should i reinstall the drivers? Or just swap the cards over?

unistall drivers, reboot, install new card, boot up, delete folders under program files, install new drivers.

When the drivers install they detect what hardware your running

Thanks for the input.

I was going to just swap them over to save a little time, but a reinstall will only take a few mins anyway. :p

The folder to delete in ProFiles and Profiles (x86) are named Nvidia Corporation? Never deleted them folders before. Guess it can't hurt to clear up any leftovers.

to be honest i never bother just swap the cards, then install the most reacent driver (downloaded before the swap), and chose a clean install.

Yea, after unistalling the drivers, delete the Nvidia folder under program files (graphics drivers, if your mobo has Nvidia nforce or other leave them alone)
