Need to reinstall Windows

Hi

Installing a new motherboard soon going from an Intel board to AMD. Read online that a reinstall is needed. Got my PC from overclockers but not sure where the disk is to reinstall windows. What are my options?

Firstly I would try it without reinstalling windows, uninstall the necessary drivers and reinstall the appropriate ones, you may need to reactive windows after.

Create a windows bootable USB by following these steps, you can then reinstall windows once you’ve swapped over.

Make sure to have your windows activation key written down.

Do you have a retail or OEM copy of Windows? a lot of pre-built have an OEM install and/or are activated by a key baked into the motherboards firmware - which in theory aren't "supposed" to be transferred to a new machine (though MS doesn't seem to overly care).
