Hi,

Ive just found out my Asus Mobo P67 has faulty sata ports and am going to send it back but overclockers have done the RMA as a replacement however i can't be without a PC for too long so i would rather just order a new mobo now and then sell the one i get back from OC.

My CPU is: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155, What would be the best mobo for around the £120 mark.

Also i currently have G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

I wouldn't mind upgrading to 16GB if possible at the end of the month, what would be my best option for the lowest price possible ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, When you say pretty fast how long are we talking like 2-3 days?

I only have the 1 PC and use it daily, i can't really be without it that long!

While i have the PC all apart i wouldn't mind upgrading it anyway so i can fit some faster ram if possible.

Will the Z77 chip sets work with my CPU ?

Depends what they're testing and how much stuff they have to test at the time, I expect it'll only take a few days maybe a week max, but is the cost really worth it of a whole new motherboard?

There's a thread here where it took OcUK over a month to RMA an Asus board as they sent it back to them so there is no guarantee it will be a short turn around
