need to replace front usb port

I fried one of the usb ports in the front of my pc.

It's an ezcool case it has 1 usb,1 speaker port and 1 microphone port then 1 usb port in a line.

Can i find a replacement for the front usb port,i looked inside its a card with two cables plug in the back to the motherboard's usb pins,anyone know what it's called what i should be looking for,maybe send me a link to ebay for one.thanks.

doubt ylou would find a replacment, could i reccomend getting a USB port + cable + socket to set up the USB into a USB port on the mobo, its quite easy to do and the parts should be easilly found at your local electronics store. I can then only suggest you rip off the old connector and use the existing holes for the new port.

Just look for...

'USB bracket'

and you will find loads. The problem is that you won't fine ones that will fit the front panel exactly, most will be PCI brackets.

So you will just have to mod them a little, and wire length might be an problem.
