Need to replace my Casio £6.99 watch

Swatch make pretty cool stuff. not to be shunned. I thought this is one of their more tasteful and better value watches.
Certainly trumps a casio!
If you want something a bit more 'flashy' then have a look at their 'chrono' range.
They have something for most people, I just bought one like this for a friends birthday, its closer to £70, but it oozes trendy in my eyes. (if you're somebody that likes a olive/brown watch)

Both my watches have metal straps and I find them perfectly comfortable because they are fitted to my wrist although I admit occasionally a hair gets caught in the links which isn't great.
Nixon do a few interesting looking fashion watches, as do Animal, you may find some for under £50 but they may be last seasons.
to twelve year olds, maybe. generally, they just look crass.
a nice Analogue Swatch would be your best bet. i happen to like this one quite a lot:

£5 over budget but some nice bright combinations and it's nice and simple.

I think this one would be like marmite you'll resent it or spread it on your toast without a shadow of a doubt
Is it sad I actually do like the face of it with the numbers.. If it was a plain blue strap I would actually consider wearing it... I think it looks funky, but the strap is a tad bit far..
I quite like that Back Nixon watch, the rest look a bit too odd for everyday wearing.. Maybe the white one for a change?

I like the Red one. Also quite like the Red/Blue/Yellow one. It's all your choice at the end of the day.
Check out some of the other Nixon watches, although I think they wont be within you're budget. I quite like the Swatch one with the clouds mind.
