I've been using my Silicon Graphics 21" CRT for nearly 8 year and until recently I thought it was still OK. I borrowed a cheap 17" TFT from work to try dual screens and was blown awaywith how clear and crisp the 17" TFT was. My CRT is fuzzy and dull, with hardly any contrast.
Looking at the Belinea 22" WS TFT as a replacement. The res is perfect as I use 1280x1024 currently so it will be quite similar but with some extra width.
I'm not bothered about it only having one input as it will only ever display the PC's output.
Only thing I'm concerned with is any back light bleed.
My question is.. Is it worth paying an extra £100 odd for a dell or similar TFT over the Belinea. Is the picture quality worth that much more or are we just paying for the DVI inputs etc?
