Need to replace PSU Fans - Enermax Galaxy

Hi,

Enermaxy Galaxy 850W

I need to replace my PSU fans, the PSU is beeping saying they are dying basically. Having googled a lot, I know that my particular PSU fan's need to be 2pin, 135mm and a 80mm. I can find the 80mm but finding a 2pin 12V 135mm fan is a nightmare. Luckily putting them in doesnt require any cutting or soldering, just plugging in the 2 pin.

Has anyone actually replaced their galaxy fans and if so, can you tell me where you got them and how?

Yeah I seen that, they have an office in germany but I don't speak german. There must be an easier way to get one!

Would a 140 fan be possible? I really need someone who's had this problem! Lol

You can get a 3 pin to 2 pin fan adapter if that helps?

You know, they might speak english. It might be worth a try. If you call them and they don't understand, nothing much is lost. Just hang up and go on. I would be extremly surprised if they do not know english.
If it is because you are shy to talk to them, send them an e-mail.

Update!

Having looked inside my PSU, the fans are 3 pin not 2 pin. This means I can use any regular 3 pin fans.

For those who have my problem in the future, the fans I have bought to replace the existing ones are in the same Ampage or lower, and 12V DC.

sorry to drag up an old post...

don't suppose you have a guide or anything on how you did it? My enermax galaxy 850w isn't beeping at me, but the fans are the loudest thing in my case now, so rather than pay out yet more money on a new psu, I might just swap for some quieter fans.

Is the fan really just a standard case fan? no modding or anything?
