Need to revert back to integrated graphics on 9900k

Hi,

Hoping to build my sons new pc at the weekend.

We have all the parts except gpu so I’m going to be donating my 1080ti until we can get him a RTX 30anything card.

What will I need to do to switch my pc back to integrated graphics? Is there a best practice for doing this?

I did it a few times. I think you simply remove GPU and plug HDMI or DisplayPort cable into the motherboard.

Onboard graphics will be activated automatically. Otherwise you would not be able to see POST, BIOS, etc. to change settings.

You should also install intel drivers for the onboard graphics.
