Hi guys my computer has been crashing and I am pretty sure that it is the PSU. I need to RMA it and I have never done it before. I tried searching the forums on how but can't find it. It is around 8 months old.

Can someone please explain to me how to do this?

Thanks so much.

Wiggle the cables and make sure they are in tightly.

My PC was having power cuts non stop then after a while stopped booting, re did all my connections and it hasn't died since.

I have basically tried anything I could think of. Took all components out, replaced them one by one, in different order with other components. The computer will switch on for around 1 second and then power off. It will not restart until I unplug the power cable from the back and leave it for a while. The process continues where it will power on for 1 second and then boom, off again. the only component I have not replaced is the power supply as I dont have an alternate. I replaced the ram, motherboard, cpu gfx etc.

I tried reseating everything. Thats why I believe it is a power issue. I called OCUK and the guy on the phone took order number and passed me to another guy who said, "Just post it". So thats what I am going to do tomorrow. I thought I would have had to set up a return online or over the phone. I was told just post it in and they would take care of it. So do I need to send anything else in with it? Like order number, name address etc?

thanks so much I am at my wits end with this.

If your RMA'ing it you need to put thr RMA number on the sides. You should have been given a number by email or on the phone when you contated them.

Thats the thing Bacon, I expected to recieve a number, or some form of reference, but I didn't. When I called I explained that it was in warranty and was faulty. The guy took order number and then said he had to pass me onto another person. When I was transferred to him I had to explain everything again, and the words out of his mouth were literally, "Just post it." When I questioned whether I would need a Number he said no. Not great service if I do say so, sorry. Looks like I will have to ring them again today then.

Hey thanks for the advice. I posted there this morning so just waiting on a reply. Included my order number so I hope someione will set up an RMA for me there. Hopefully soon as I would like to send it today!
