Need to send a fax!

Fairly urgently, but don't have a fax machine, or a bell cable phone (all ethernet phones here).

I do have Windows Fax and Scan but I'm sure i've done this before over LAN maybe using some 3rd party software, ideally free?

Can anyone help?
