As a lot of you will know there are now around 90 windows updates available for a fresh SP2 install.

When I setup new customers PC's (I tend not to supply the PC's and advise them to purchase from the high street or similar) I install the latest updates.

What would be useful is if there is a small program or method for which I can download all of the latest updates to my external HDD and then initiate these updates onto the brand new computer.

Any ideas? I don't want to download each update and install each update individually.

When I was building a CarPC I slipstreamed an XP install using nLite (http://www.nliteos.com/). This allows you to specify which Windows Updates you want to apply, although you still need to download them individually to create your slipstream copy of XP.

I would've thought you'd be doing this already if you're deploying XP regularly as you can brand the install with your logo, etc.

nlite if you're building pc's from scratch + ryanvm hotfix pack

autopatcher if you're wanting to patch already live pc's :)
